Here's a slap in the face!

For those who proclaim America to be a Christian nation, they should take a look at what's happened to greed. It's gone from being a deadly sin to being a prized and rewarded character trait.
Nicholas Kristof calls the Baby Boomer's the Greediest Generation, noting "But I fear that we'll be remembered mostly for grabbing resources for ourselves, in such a way that the big losers will be America's children."
But writing about Medicare & Medicaid doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of greed's importance to America. Why are all of America's national security interests centered around areas of critical natural resources? Why is the ability to make an income being shipped overseas? Why are executive positions never outsourced?
Why is the unmitigated greed of the richest 5% of the population of America enabled by the poorer 95%?
